The DocFest Jazz Board of Directors voted unanimously in 2014 to establish the HSPVA Jazz Hall of Fame to recognize highly successful and prominent alumni of the HSPVA jazz program. Recipients are selected by the Board, inducted annually at DocFest, and typically headline their respective DocFest concerts.
DocFest will soon add two more accomplished musicians to the HSPVA Jazz Hall of Fame. Chris “Daddy” Dave and Scott Hardy will be inducted on October 23rd at DocFest ’26. Please join us at The Hobby Center’s Zilkha Hall located at 800 Bagby Street in Houston, Texas for a special night of music and celebration!
